This weeks Things I love Thursday is an online edition as I seem to have spent the week head down, bum up in my Mac learning techy things, watching vibrant things and reading awesome things.
Check out last weeks things I love here which included an fantastic interview with Zoe Foster-Blake on The Grace Tales.
Here are just a few of my cool online people and things this week:
- The work of Hailey Bartholomew
Quite a while ago I bought a book called 365 Gratefuls by Hailey Bartholomew as my cousin had a pic included in its pages and I loved the concept of the project. I bought the book not knowing much of the author. Since then Hailey has been popping up everywhere I look and the latest place was last night in a little Q&A session I sat in for Clever Cookies.
Hailey is one fantastic, hard-working lady and I spent a lot of last night going through her Vimeo account and blog which is where I found this vibrant, inspiring short film.
I have had a little thing for India since reading Shantaram and this film just relit the fire.
It also made me want to have more children… so I must stop watching.
Look how happy all those kids are, expanding their minds in a foreign country.
India, I love you is simply beautiful.
- You Have to Fucking Eat
The sequel to Go the Fuck to Sleep has been announced and I have only just found out by the power of Facebook.
The name of this book could not resonate more in my household.
You Have to Fucking Eat by Adam Mansbach is released 12 November and you can preorder now from most online book stores.
I can’t wait!
- Wordswag
This app was introduced to me a couple of weeks ago but the last few days I have really fallen in love. If you want to make your images a little more wordy, more sparkly, more POP, you need to check out Wordswag.
Such a handy app and only $3.79 in the app store. I don’t think I will ever give it up.
- It’s a bed. It’s a digger. It’s a DIGGER BED!
This bed! This bed is in firm consideration to join our family at Christmas time. It will rock Ari’s world and hopefully encourage the smooth transition into another bedroom. What do you think?
What greatness have you found online lately?
word swag is awesome! I like how you’ve cropped it for your intro image here!
