This house was late to join the lurgy season but we made up for lost time. Hopefully we are at the end of it and in the next few days I will see my last snotty covered sleeve and will get my mojo back after getting knocked down by some gastro thing on the weekend.
Fun! Won’t you join us?
No? Maybe this will be better, I am taking stock of September so you can peer through my blinds from afar. Lurgy free.
Taking Stock is an original concept from Pip Lincoln and it is super fun to do.
Making: Musical instruments with this months Tinker Tots Box.
Cooking: Pork sausage rigatoni and chicken with cashews and coconut satay sauce are on high rotation.
Drinking: Coke Zero and not enough water.
Reading: Happier at Home and lots of home magazines.
Wanting: To sleep for days.
Looking: Forward to celebrating the Mr’s big 4-0 birthday.
Playing: Hide and Seek. It is very easy with an impatient 3 year-old.
Deciding: To paint a huge chalkboard in the kid’s play room.
Wishing: The sickness away. Done thanks.
Enjoying: Warmer days and leaving winter behind.
Waiting: For the day I get my braces on. I still have a month or so to wait.
Wondering: If Leni will be crawling by the time we fly down to Victoria to see the in-laws.
Loving: Christmas creeping up on us.
Pondering: What to put on Santa’s list.
Buying: New clothes for the kids. All of a sudden we are next size all over.
Watching: The Block and Celebrity Apprentice (I never thought I would say that).
Needing: A personal maintenance day. I have a week left before the Mr comes home again.
Smelling: The leftovers from chicken dumplings for dinner tonight.
Wearing: Long pants everyday. My legs are desperate for some gardening work.
Thinking: I don’t have to worry about Ari’s hearing and long term memory.
Disliking: Mount Washmore! Never has it been so big.
Feeling: Like watching Andy on The Block is breaking my heart. Are you watching?
Snacking: I am trying not to snack to shed a couple of kilos. I’m doing well so far.
Pick a few yourself and please tell me what you have been up to in September.
