I think March 2015 would have to have been one of the most productive months of my entire life!
When I told myself to keep busy when the Mr finally went back to work after 6 weeks off for the arrival of our little Leni I certainly held true to the task. Actually on Saturday it was the first day in the past two weeks that we spent the full day at home. It was wonderful.
I have little pieces of random projects all around the house. Things started, then left for play time, feed time, or rest time and never returned to. Basically I have piles!
A busy month is in lead up to a festive April. Birthdays, visitors and Easter fun all kicks off the new month but in the spirit of mindfulness I’m taking stock of March.
Making: Thank you cards with super cute photos.
Cooking: Big batch meals to freeze for witching hour dinners.
Drinking: Water and sneaky Sprite Zeros.
Reading: Wild. I know completely outside the Australian Writing category which I am supposed to be keeping to for the year but it is my first break away. I have also read Daring and Disruptive by Lisa Messenger and Your Best Year Yet by Kelly Exeter to make up for it this month.
Wanting: To clean my desk
Looking: At piles of “stuff”. I really need to just get stuck into it!
Playing: Pick up all the freaking Woolworths Dominos a thousand times a day!
Deciding: If I should book flights to the Whitsundays for a wedding in September.
Wishing: The day away because tomorrow is fly in day. Woohoo! Our first fortnight down and everyone is still alive.
Enjoying: Cuddles with each of my munchkins for our little quiet times together.
Waiting: Impatiently for Wednesday.
Liking: All this activity in our lives as much as sometimes I wish I could just stop.
Wondering: If we will make it through until 1:30am again tonight before first feed. Please!
Loving: The build up to Ari’s 3rd birthday on Thursday and party on Friday.
Considering: Buying another single mattress before our visitors arrive on Saturday.
Buying: Superhero everything! Loving the new Big W party shop close to home.
Watching: The Block of course. I can’t wait for the new show Renovation Rumble that they keep advertising!
Hoping: The hidden Easter eggs aren’t found before Sunday.
Marvelling: At how my big baby is turning 3!
Cringing: At the fact they I need to give toilet training a go again. Well not just a go, I need to toilet train him.
Needing: To concentrate on one thing at a time. Mindfulness Karin.
Smelling: Hush baby aromatherapy oils.
Wearing: Anything easy to get my boobs out.
Thinking: I kind of have it together. Shhh! Don’t say it out loud.
Admiring: Ari for the amount of love he is showing his little sister though noticing him fighting for my attention when it is with Leni.
Sorting: Through cupboards but I am a bit half assed about it.
Getting: Excited to finally have our family of 4 back together for a fortnight.
Bookmarking: So many good things for The Ultimate Rabbit Hole.
Opening: New tastes from Ovi Hydration.
Giggling: With excitement for Ari’s birthday party on Friday.
Feeling: Lots of love and mushy stuff for my little family.
Snacking: On Scotch Finger Biscuits. Addict!
