I hate the end of June because I hate paperwork. I don’t even have much paperwork for the end of financial year but just the thought sends my brain in a frizz and my heart into overdrive.
I am not a figures kinda gal.
Best focusing on better things and take stock of the month that was.
Taking Stock is Pip‘s idea and if you don’t do it already you really should. It’s fun!
Making: Turtles, octopus and fish with this months Tinker Tots Box.
Cooking: Roast lamb and lots of veggies because the Mr is home and it is time to eat well again.
Drinking: Tea and wine with a little water in between.
Reading: A heap of magazines from little piles around the house. My attempt at cleaning up.
Wanting: Someone to come clean up the last bits in my kitchen from dinner.
Looking: At really badly chipped nail polish on my fingers.
Playing: Pepper Pig snap.
Deciding: If I actually need to take the old polish off or just paint over the top.
Loving: The fact I can bundle Leni up and take her anywhere at the moment.
Watching: Orange is the New Black, trying to catch up to season 3. I also churned through season 1 of Unbreakable on Netflix. Hilarious!!
Hoping: Time goes super slow this fortnight.
Marvelling: At the love already between our two kids.
Cringing: At Netflix’s Spartacus… it is really terrible! The Mr is involved.
Questioning: My addiction to a bowl of Nutri Grain every single night.
Smelling: Roast lamb
Wearing: Soft pants and a black t-shirt
Following: These top 3 Kidspot Voices in Parenting & Style.
Noticing: Leni is now grabbing at everything including necklaces, toys and my hair.
Admiring: My ass! I think it is coming back after disappearing down to my thighs after the birth of Leni.
Sorting: Our tax. Blurgh!
Getting: Excited for a mini holiday to the Gold Coast next week.
Bookmarking: This, this and this.
Giggling: At Mickey Flanagan.
Snacking: On grapes. How good are grapes at the moment!
Hearing: So many swear words from this stupid Spartacus show. I am sure the c-bomb was never used this much in the 1st century BC (thanks Wikipedia).
