Again I am joining in on the clever and crafty Pip’s Taking Stock.
I take some time out at the end of each month to ponder what has been going on in KOG Cottage instead of just letting the month expire.
Making: Treasure chests out of Huggies wipes containers and black card.
Cooking: A huge roast lamb to celebrate the Mr’s return home eaten at pensioners hour.
Drinking: A few wines again. It is nice just having a glass or two at night over the weekends.
Reading: Still Wild but have also just started Yes Please from Amy Poehler. Whoopsie on a Year of Australian Writing but will get back on track soon.
Wanting: A clean out genie to come and help me clean and rearrange my house.
Playing: Mummy Tiger/Baby Tiger it seems. So my son tells me anyway. My favourite type of game is one I don’t have to do much except call him Baby Tiger.
Deciding: What this little family is going to get up to while the daddy is home.
Wishing: The sun would come out again.
Enjoying: My new big king sized bed. Enough room for everyone now.
Waiting: For my new pram to arrive that I won from The Plumbette. So excited!!
Liking: The fact I have kind of, sort of put a better working organisational plan together. Now just to stick to it.
Wondering: If I can sneak a nap in today?
Loving: The coo’s from my little Leni.
Considering: Slipping on a jumper. It has turned into a chilly day.
Buying: I little too much of late. I must deactivate my PayPal account!
Watching: The Block – all over red rover. Looking forward to Renovation Rumble.
Hoping: All the stuffy noses around here don’t get any worse.
Marvelling: At Leni’s clothes quickly becoming to small. So many cute pieces now being put away.
Needing: That nap!
Smelling: My latest Glasshouse candle, Manhattan.
Wearing: High-waisted jeans. So long hipsters this Mumma needs control!
Following: New found blogs The Builder’s Wife, Patchwork Cactus and Champagne and Chips.
Noticing: My Leni growing so fast.
Sorting: One corner of the linen closet and that is as far as I got.
Getting: Excited for Mother’s Day, even though I know what I am getting. We are also going out to a special Mother’s Day lunch for the first time.
Bookmarking: Lots of special pages and posts for The Ultimate Rabbit Hole each week.
Feeling: Relieved about how well Ari has done with his toilet training. It was the right time, finally!
Snacking: On Scotch Finger biscuits. I think I need an intervention! And grapes, they are so good at the moment.
Wishing: There were more hours in the day. Don’t we all!
Hearing: So much noise. This house is seriously crazy loud at times.
