We have just returned from a mini-break at Mooloolaba on the Sunshine Coast. After a record-breaking, heat-wave weekend for Brisbane we drove up the Highway on Tuesday with dark skies chasing us.
Of course it rained most of the time across the two nights and a two-year-old quickly makes a 2-bedroom apartment feel like a hotel room when being trapped inside for to long.
What does one do on a rainy holiday? Well here is how our resident Superman tackled the not-so-Sunny Coast.
First things first…
Then we hit up SeaLife Mooloolaba with our super 2 for 1 vouchers from Everyday Rewards! Get yours here. There are a heap of different aquariums and wildlife parks around Australia you can use the voucher. You just have to be an Everyday Rewards card holder. (Completely not a sponsored post, just sharing)
Pit stop back to our apartment.
Next we hit up the “Timezone”/”Playzone”/”rip off games for tickets” or otherwise newly named around these parts as “Movie Balls”… we don’t ask questions.
A busy day is very thirsty work!
Of course this morning we wake to sunshine, so it was a quick trip to the beach and a dip in the pool before check out.
Have you been on a holiday when it has rained the whole time?
