We are officially back. Here is cheers to officially kicking off season 2 of The Mummy Soul Sessions podcast. Funny as I never set out to do “seasons” but I guess it is just the way life goes. We are hitting the ground running, not fast, just casually, mindfully and purposefully with this really great episode.
Of course I make it no secret that my chats with Dr Sash are really cheap therapy and after a busy few weeks (sorry I know I threw in the “B” word there) I needed to talk about the unnecessary zone I had got myself into.
I can be patting myself on the back for getting things done one minute and then that one foot in front of the other turns into a stumble. Next minute I’m running, chasing my tail, getting nowhere and stressing out about it all. I’m thinking I need to do things for events in six weeks time. DO ALL THE THINGS!
In this episode Dr Sash and I chat about being carried away in a stress cycle, how to recognise one coming on and how to break it once you have been engulfed. Dramatic, I know!
Dr Sash brings her smarts and shares some excellent, actionable tips on how to stay on track without being swept away in your own head. Plus she gives merit to procrasti-cleaning! Hello! I love a good clean out when I have a deadline to meet that has nothing to do with interior design.
