Well it is over again! The Block Glasshouse ended last night with all the apartments being auctioned off and I am devastated for the couples that didn’t reach the marks that their time and effort should afford. Especially the ones who left their little ones at home for three months. I don’t know how they do it.
It gets hard when reality TV gets… well, real I guess and unfortunately that is what seems to be what happened last night. By the end I was a wreak with all of the contestants.
It was nice to see the whole group feel for each others misfortune.
How hard would it have been for Simon and Shannon. Happy to win, devastated for the others and really not knowing what to do. My heart melted a little to see Simon so upset.
I’m not sure what I think though. I’m a little bit, well that is the risk you take. Like any real estate venture.
I have seen people really going off on Facebook feeds about it. I saw calls for the profits of Apartment 6 to be divided up between the low winners. I’m thinking that ‘profits’ on Apartment 6 might be a strong call right now but I would be interested to know where those profits (if there are any) do go. Did I miss this slice of info? Can someone fill me in?
This season I was team Michael and Carlene from the beginning. Big fan of their down to earth attitude and Carlene’s laugh. They are the type of people I want to BBQ with.
I am certainly a Blockaholic. I think I have missed only one season and that was when the fat tradie boys (well they really are men) were first on. I love Scotty. I love Shelly. I love Sunday night reveal. But man I’m happy when it is all over and I get my nights back. As much as I say at the beginning I’m not going to get to involved, it happens and I hate missing a moment. I hate that I hate not missing a thing. It’s my FOMO coming out.
Oh and while watching The Block did anyone catch the ad for Gallipoli coming in 2015. Ripped my heart out and it was only the ad!
What did you think of the final results?
Did your favourite take out the big bucks?
