The presents are wrapped and under the tree. The kids are occupied so you have nothing to fear. It is time to plan what you will be dishing up on the big day.
This is what I am up to!
Currently I am pinning and saving a whole heap of delicious looking recipes for evenings with friends, days with family and a quiet special tipple for evening with the Mr.
You can check out my Pinterest boards here but these are a few of my favourites.
From left to right:
Jamie Oliver’s Sticky Glazed Roast Ham – Woolworths. This is my chosen one. My first attempt and I can’t wait to try it out.
Prawn and Avocado Stack – Kidspot. Christmas isn’t Christmas without prawns and this looks delish!
No Bake Christmas Cheesecakes – Bake Play Smile. Now these would impress!! And doesn’t look too hard really.
Crunchy Noodle Salad with Sesame Dressing – Land of Zonkt. An old favourite rejigged to be leaner.
Triple Layer Christmas Ice-Cream Pudding – Bake Play Smile. This recipe is perfect for an Aussie Christmas. Get massive foodie props and make it for visiting friends.
Vodka, Guava and Ginger Cocktail – Taste. I think it is nice to have something lovely to drink that is out of the ordinary and feels very festive.

They all look awesome!
I can’t wait!!
I’m onto the cocktail sounds delish. I’m very unprepared for Christmas this year so it may just be the cocktail! Xx
Liquid lunch! Completely acceptable. x
They all look ace. As it’s only the two of us and I am not in the least bit organised, I think we’re going to go with the Antipasto Wreath from Cooker and A Looker – it’s amazeballs – and there will also be Cheesecake and fudge combo that will no doubt send us into the annual festive food coma. We have a half marathon to train for so I’m working on the premise that we’ll be running off all the Christmas calories!
How divine does that prawn and avocado stack look! There is something about stacking stuff that makes my mouth water! YUM!
