It is something we have become very used to now, three years in. Not that everything is calm all the time (hence the title of this here blog) but there are routines that we regularly do to help things kick off in the best possible way.
This week’s podcast episode it is just me chatting about those practices and habits that I do to get myself in the best frame of mind to prepare for parenting solo for a fortnight, when we had just become used to being a family of four again.
These suggestions are not just for anyone living with a FIFO roster. It is really just a reminder for anyone to do the little things that keep our patience a lot longer. These are a few of my little things.
