With 2015 coming to a close I thought I might recap on the 10 most read posts on Calm to Conniption in 2015.
I completely get this. Who doesn’t love getting fancy for high tea? I certainly do especially when it is delivered to me in my own house for the impending arrival of my little Leni back in February.
Actually I really am sure I don’t. I was baffled about the new (now old) fad of the “thighbrow”. I am amazed this ranty post got as many readers as it did but obviously it baffled most of us.
It was a privilege when Reannon shared her youngest’s birth story on Calm to Conniption. Going into labour while my husband was thousands of kilometres away was always a scary thought which actually happened to poor Reannon, with her husband… not mine.
Of course this interview was well read. This inspiring lady behind the blog 93 Frocks had everyone cheering her along with her accomplishments.
A few of my favourite, out of the ordinary, baby things. Plus I created a handy little front door poster to keep those pesky door-knocker/baby-waker people away.
Maybe I need to share my birth story because the ones I feature always get a lot of interest! Appropriate interest. The Best Laid Plans is the story of the birth of my friend Danielle’s first baby, Charlotte. Danielle was on the learning curve of her life and it was an honour she chose to share her story on Calm to Conniption.
This was part of my top apps series which also included for bloggers and for life. I really should put another of these posts together soon as there are always fantastic new apps coming out. This list is still some of our favourites.
The middle of this year found me questioning our families FIFO lifestyle was it right for the kids?
This post went gang busted and was so much fun to write. I have another in the works because motherhood is like that! Always something new.
And the most read, or maybe I should say most made?
Still a regular at our place, this potato salad is exactly as the name states. I can’t help but overdose on it every time I make it. The key is the mayo I think, and not making it over chunky.
My number one post is a recipe. Hilarious. If only I had the skills to be a food blogger!
Have a wonderful New Years Eve celebration. Stay safe and enjoy!
