The end of the year is nigh. I have been mentally putting this post off thinking it was too early but honestly, it simply no longer is. Three weeks to go until you are looking around at all these organised families giving gifts to their child’s teachers.
Do you do the whole teacher’s gift? It can get expensive, no?
After flicking around Pinterest for a while I was inspired to make some of these wonderful “You’re The Balm” gifts and pass the printable on to you. I hope it helps in the end of year, extremely fun, madness.
You’re The Balm Teachers Gift
What you will need:
- Download the free printable
- Black felt tip pen
- Printer
- Card or heavy paper – I used 200gsm card from Officeworks
- Scissors
- Cute washi tape
- Lip balm – I am a doTERRA Wellness Advocate so I chose to use these Peppermint and Wild Orange ones that are super yummy and fresh on my lips.
What to do:
- Print out the free printable (link is above and below) and print off with page set up as portrait with 4 to a page. I have made it so 4 cards will fit happily on an A4 page.
- If you have the capabilities you might like to personalise on your computer before printing off but if not, just using a black felt tip pen will look fine.
- Cut out your cards.
- Using your washi tape, wrap enough tape to stick the balm onto the card and so you can admire it on the edges.
- Add you little creations as a cute bonus to your teacher’s gift or just hand out by themselves. Ours are going out to aids and helpers solo and all major teachers get theres as a little bonus.
You could also use these as a class gift but I do have another idea coming up for you soon for the whole class so keep an eye out for that one.
If you missed the printable you can grab it here.
Do you give teachers a gift at the end of the year?
I would love to see you socially!
That’s such a great idea!
Cute nails too BTW
Thanks, they are my latest Jams, Desert something…
As a teacher myself I know this is one gift that would be very well received! Love the cards!
Yay!
Great idea!
Cheap and cheerful
I love this! I am currently working on finishing a very similar Christmas Kris Kringle blog post using a variety of little beauty gifts. It will be published next week on Tuesday. I’m glad I didn’t get it finished in time for today – lol!

Tis the season for organising the season. LOL
I love DoTerra Lip balm, it’s my fave!! As a teacher this a very cute and practical little gift x
I only just got my first one and it is so fresh.
BRILLIANT!!! What a simple but effective idea. Love it!!
Thanks Nic x
A lovely lovely idea Karin! Much appreciated by teachers I will bet. Its well over a month until NSW schools (public ones) finish so at least the ‘end is in sight’ in Old! Denyse #teamIBOT
The wrap up has begun. All the talk at Kindy and other classes is about the last couple of weeks. I love to be organised. 🙂
We don’t need to do teachers gifts yet because she doesn’t go to daycare, but I am loving all the ideas I’m seeing around on so many different blogs and instagram. Love this one because it’s so cost effective {some people go a bit nuts I think}.
I was talking to my teacher friends about gifts and I was amazed at some of the gifts. Actually amazed isn’t the right word, more in awe!
It’s funny, I’ve just finally got to thinking about teachers gifts for the end of the year – this is a great option for two of them. Thanks so much for sharing!
It’s a really good one for aids and support teachers I think.
So very clever. Love this!!
xx
So cute love this idea
Thanks V x
So cute Karin! I think teachers appreciate gifts like this with a bit of a handmade/personal touch xx
They must continuously get the same stuff. At least they are likely to use the lip balm.
The file downloads as a whole page print and does not give me the option to make it 4 per page (smaller card-sized tags). Do you have it in this format that I might be able to use? Thank you for any help!
