It hasn’t been a health week, actually anything but, as I threw myself into work trying to pretend that it wasn’t my original baby’s last few days.
I have had enough of having to deal with stuff. Big picture, yes I know there are worse people off in the world but I am happy to close off all the bad stuff and just enjoy my weekend.
See, I am dragging my heavy heart to Sydney to hang out with my URH co-host Sammie and also catch up with some other wonderful people. I’m excited to go but also still morning my Gypsy girl’s passing on Tuesday night.
Dragging isn’t the right word. I have my nails done and bag packed, I’m considering all clothes options but I’m just moving a little more slowly.
Look at her up there. My magnificent Gyps’. She was just shy of her sweet 16! I can only be so grateful to have had her in my life since she was 6 weeks old and that in the end everything happened quite fast.
As you can imgine I haven’t been online much this week and I am sure you are not overly interested in such posts as “how to tell if your dog is dying” and “cremation packages for your beloved pets” which I did actually read.
Each day is getting easier and I am really looking forward to lots of hugs and laughs with my Sydney friends. It is all good for the soul.
So fill me in, what have I missed online this week?
I am deliberatly skimming over any election talk. Let’s take time out for the weekend. Urgh.
Link up your weekly link list or just your favourite post of the week if you are not of the link list kind.
Please link only ONE post. This makes it fair for everyone and allows more posts to be read. Ta y’all!
