Well it is the end of another month. Only two to go and it is the end of another year! Scary stuff but also exciting as I can’t wait to get this show on the road with the arrival of baby number 2 sometime in February.
The end of October brings with it a time to reflect on what I have been up to and give myself an ass kicking if it is dead boring!
Here is what my October looks like:
Making: pom poms for a Christmas decoration. Not exactly sure what that decoration is yet.
Cooking: mushroom risotto! Yum! By the time I get through it all I won’t want mushroom risotto until next year.
Drinking: Water, water and more water. I have been lax on the water so making up for lost time and feel so much better for it.
Reading: my daily Bloglovin’ feed. If you love blogs and aren’t using Bloglovin’, this will be change your life stuff!
Wanting: Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict, will have to be my first meal after the baby is born.
Looking: forward to seeing what Halloween is going to be like tonight in our new street.
Playing: with the fact that in 15 weeks I will be a parent to TWO children!
Deciding: what it is that I might want for Christmas. Husband Claus is requesting a list.
Wishing: that I had a Rosie from the Jetsons. Maybe that is what I should put on my Christmas list!
Enjoying: being able to swim in our own backyard while it has been warming up.
Waiting: for my new iPhone to turn up. It was supposed to be here on Wednesday!
Liking: this post over at From the Left Field.
Wondering: if the arrival of this bub will be a little less eventful then the arrival of the last.
Loving: waking up to news that my post about The Boomerang Dad was featured here.
Considering: a head down writing day tomorrow. Now just to arrange the grandparents.
Watching: Orange is the New Black, trying to finish season one. Remember a time before children when a day could be spent watching a TV series!
Smelling: Pink Lemonade. I have just started burning Birds of a Feather from Glasshouse candles for Breast Cancer awareness month. They are all sold out now, sorry.
Wearing: black, always black. And stretchy!
Following: Stay at Home Territory, The Uneducated Opinion (I love the name!) and Hugzilla.
Noticing: Ari’s latest growth spurt!
Knowing: I am going to have to tackle the nappy to toilet situation soon. Read about our first attempt here.
Sorting: through baby boy clothes into baby girl friendly piles. I have a yes, no and home only. There are not many in the no pile.
Buying: picture books for Ari.
Getting: excited that the birthday present I bought for my husband’s birthday will finally arrive on Monday. Hopefully. His birthday was at the beginning of the month! Eeep!
Bookmarking: lots from Maxabella Loves blog-life series of posts.
Opening: boxes in the mail from Kikki-K, Tiny Me and Typo.
Giggling: at how sexy I find Daniel Radcliffe rapping on The Tonight Show. Prior to this Daniel is not a sexy man in my book.
Snacking: on Scotch Finger biscuits. Cravings at large!
Wishing: it would just rain already.
Hearing: “Sit on your lap, Mum” all day everyday at the moment.
Do you take stock with Pip Lincoln at Meet Me at Mikes too?
Feel free to link to your October taking stock post in the comments or I would love to just hear of something awesome that happened in your October.
