First a disclaimer: I use the term life savers loosely. My life is not saved by a little plastic. I can go on without it, but I would be sad.
It’s the little things in life that make me happy. Well made cups of tea with a quality bag. No black ring around the top of my Glasshouse candle after I blow it out. Using the hand-held vac without the battery running out because I forgot to put it on charge. Winning!
I jumped on the sandwich cutter, fun stuff for kids, band wagon a while ago and bought a dino cutter and one that cuts out a range of transport options. I don’t use the transport one often as I get a barrage of “what’s that?” questions as he can’t figure out what the hell they are meant to be.
The cutting of a sandwich, and I am talking kid’s crust off basic sandwich not a chicken and salad, takes up about a third of the time of the overall make. So these little cutters smash the sandwich out quicker then you can say “Time to get a life!”
My problem was Ari is more of a straight up, basic shape in consumables kind of guy and he preferred squares or triangles which brought back the manual labor.
Then I was introduced to this little fella…
Every time I use it I consider how much of a lazy ass this contraption makes me and then I decide I don’t care.
I love you little plastic sandwich cutter that cost under $2 including postage from Hong Kong.
If only I could find one that does two big rectangles!
What lazy ass life savers do you have in your home?
Lol! Give me a lazy ass life saver any day! I use my food processor as a lazy ass life saver. Don’t want to chop up an onion? Throw it in there? can’t be assed slicing capsicum? In it goes. Mind you, I think it takes just as much effort to get it out of the cupboard, put the right slicer attachment on and plug it in, but it feeeeeels like I’m cheating. Makes total sense, right? π
Love it. It is why I own a Thermomix too. π
My dryer. I ahve been known to throw wet school uniforms in there so I don’t need to iron them. #lazymotherfucker
Nice one! I like the way you roll. π
