Today I am feeling grateful and loved by all the awesome people in my life.
I have had a fantastic weekend with friends staying with me from north Queensland especially for a very fancy little baby shower held for me and my incubating sass pot.
12 special ladies showered me with it loveliest gifts (OMG baby girl stuff is too cute!) and together we ate fresh scones with jam and cream (of course), the yummiest mini quiches, fancy finger sandwiches, the silkiest cupcakes plus so many more sweet treats.
Jam drops and shortbread.
The very best part…
We had it catered!
None of us had to lift a finger. How fancy is that!
The lovely Courtney from High Time for High Tea come to my house an hour before the party started to set up the table setting including candles and flowers, served us her delectable treats on all her vintage china for two hours, then cleaned everything up and quietly said goodbye while we gas-bagged the afternoon away.
If you are in the Brisbane or Sunshine Coast regions Courtney can come to you too! I can’t recommend her highly enough.
The Shower was perfect with not a vegemite stained nappy in sight or a clothes peg something something game. You can tell I haven’t been to many baby showers.
I had the most fantastic time and this little tot is going to be the best dressed lady in town!
Let’s not talk about my blood glucose reading for Saturday. I’m just pretending it didn’t happen. Slipped my mind!
This isn’t a sponsored post and we paid in full for the services of High Time for High Tea. I just thought Courtney’s service was awesome and wanted to share with you because everyone deserves fresh scones.
Did you have a baby shower? Big fan of fresh scones with cream? I personally ignore the jam part.
