When I started The Mummy Soul Sessions, this was the episode I had in mind. 101, grassroots stuff. How to meditate.
But I was miffed on who I was going to chat with. I needed someone who understood the time restraints of parenthood. Someone who oozed the passion about what change meditation can bring to someone but wasn’t deluded in the fact of what can be done with children at your feet for the majority of your day.
I saw Amy Taylor-Kabbaz speak in a webinar a few months ago and started to get excited. I knew she was the one! I signed up for her newsletter, I started using her meditations, I bought her book. Love!
When I asked if she would come and chat with me on an episode I was ecstatic when she said yes. She was the expert in this field that I needed.
Meditation and mindfulness isn’t hard work but can be extremely daunting. It took me years to discover some of the things Amy and I chat about in today’s episode. If only I had discovered Amy 4 years ago!
A Happy Mama is a woman who is confident in her role as a mother, is happy with her purpose in life, is truly connected to herself, is clear on what she needs, and is confident in getting that.
Every single day.
